Aie Restaurant

Aie means ‘mother’ and befitting the title, at Aie’s Restaurant our guests can enjoy homemade traditional dishes of fresh organic vegetables, fruits and herbs from our front-yard kitchen garden supplemented by local farmers of the nearby villages.


Local culinary experience is an integral part of traveling and at Aie’s Restaurant all our dishes are the same as prepared at any Bhutanese homes with no added preservatives or taste enhancers.


Nothing beats the taste and nutrition of a dish prepared at home by a mother and at Wangdue Eco Lodge our Chef is specially trained to dish out all the best of the Bhutanese kitchen on the plate.


Additionally to keep up with the international palate, Aie’s Restaurant also offers a mix of Continental, Indian and Chinese cuisines, however with the added taste of organic flavor and a touch of Bhutanese.
